Dissappointed VW Customer
We had bought the T5 VW Kombi August 2015 from Southern Toyota. The vehicle was given to VW Lenasia which was taken to VW Strydom Park in October 2015, November, December we received it on 4 January 2016 and gave vehicle back on got it back on 6th January 2016 and got it back on 22 January 2016 and gave it back on 01 February 2016. Each time when given back the compressor seized four times in a span of 3 to 4 days after receiving the vehicle. 2 years later when the vehicle is out of warranty the exact same problem now persists. I had contacted VW South Africa and had to contact them daily with no feedback from the lady I spoke to, she promised to call my husband which never happened, I had called to ask for assistance and advice, thereafter had to contact VW Strydom myself and get the vehicle towed to the dealership. After assessing the vehicle a bill of about R 35 000.00 is required to fix the vehicle.
If this is a recurring issue isn't there a bigger problem? So if this happens again I have to pay R 35 000.00 again.. I am so disappointed at the service from VW and would have expected a greater service. We currently have many VW vehicles and have always been a VW loyal customer.
