Disgusting Service

I took our polo vivo 2015 model in for a valuation at this dealership to see if we could get a good deal on it when trading it in for a new vehicle because there was a dent on the left front passenger door I didn't want to fix through the insurance to not lose my out bonus and all those things. The sales lady understood what I meant by this and she proceeded to do have the valuation done on the vehicle which I told her this is without me having to fix the door and if we get a good deal like this I'll speak to my wife because she is the legal owner.

She then said the valuation has been done this is the amount they will give us towards the polo vivo and what we will be paying as a deposit and the monthly installments for the new vehicle which sounded good and we agreed.

Upon collecting the new vehicle a polo tsi my wife the legal owner was in the office with me signing documents with the financial side when the sales lady called me out of the office and said the used car section says I will have to be liable for the passenger door on the polo vivo which was a shock to me because like I told her we will do this deal and pay a deposit which was R10 000 if we don't have to fix that door. So I told her that this wasn't part of the deal and she should've spoken to us before we signed for the new vehicle because they can't just change an agreement after it's been signed for already.

We then had a meeting with the dealer principal at the time and we were treated horrible and disrespected in this time and also he said then why don't we reverse this deal and give each others vehicles back which was disgusting to hear but we then said why don't we then. Not knowing that the polo vivo we traded in has already been fixed by them and sold before we have even settled this matter or even received a quote on what it will cost to be fixed. This is now an on going thing and I'm not getting any satisfaction from VW S.A. either could you please assist as Volkswagen Claremont is expecting us to pay R5800.00 odd to them for them fixing the door and this is not a happy experience at all we received just after buying a brand new vehicle and paying a deposit.
