Disgruntled Customer

I would just like to voice out my dissatisfaction with the service we (my partner and I ) got at VW Claremont. We brought in Tiguan (white) which was bought last year in EC for a fault the music system had. We were then informed that there was nothing they could do and were promised a new system which we had to wait for 2 days as it would have to be ordered.

We then brought the car in again once the system was arrived and it was installed. Later the same day we noticed that the Bluetooth was not connecting to any of our phones as the previous system did. We then called VW to inform them of the situation and were asked to bring the car in. I asked my partner to drop it as I was already at work , when he got there they had a look at it and then after sometime told him that the previous radio didn’t have a Bluetooth option. I found this very strange because I don’t see why we would lie about that. He had to prove to them that it did have the option of the Bluetooth and I advised him as I was constantly on the phone with VW and with him , to show them the paired devices on his phone. After hours of going up and down and them printing out codes to prove that were not being truthful (by that time also asked to leave work so that I could prove to them that we were not being ********* ) they saw that they were wrong. With no apology took in the car for another look and they came back saying there is nothing they can do.

The best promise was they will notify VW SA. I feel very disgruntled by the fact we were being accused of such and the radio they were replacing ours with was not even up to the standard of the initial one (I believe this should have a cost effect in the value of the car). All my life I have never had a vehicle that was not from VW from a polo classic to a jetta 4 and now we have jetter 5 and this Tiguan but to have been treated like this leaves us very disappointed and unhappy with VW.

Kind Regards
