Discover Pro Navigation Update

<p>I Would like to bring to your attention my great dissatisfaction with VWSA regarding updates for Maps on the Satellite navigation systems on the Discover Pro range.</p> <p>I have found that other clients are able to update their Discover Pro Maps free of charge from the various VW websites in their respective countries.</p> <p>But in South Africa we are to pay in excess of R5000 for Map Updates which are release ANNUALLY!</p> <p>VW has recently boasted all over social media about having an award winning factory in Uitenhage & the amount of exports etc. But excising customers are subject to irrational pricing & poor after-sales service, whereas our counterparts in other countries benefit from online updates free of charge.</p> <p>I demand an explanation as to why VW clients in South Africa is not able to access these Discover Pro Navigation Updates online as with other countries, but we are being sold the same products here in South Africa.</p> <p>I would like to know how VW SA thinks R5000+ per annum for an update on Navigation software is viable and reasonable.</p> <p><br />Please see the websites below from other countries where MAPS updates are available free of charge to VW clients, whereas in SA we need to pay dealerships R5000+ every time there is an update available.</p> <p>http://www.volkswagen.nl/navigatie-update (VW Netherlands)</p> <p>http://www.volkswagen.co.uk/technology/navigation-and-entertainment-systems/discover-nav-pro (VW UK)</p> <p>http://www.volkswagen.no/no/innovasjon-og-miljo/downloads/brochure/map-updates/instructions-discover-pro.html (VW Norway)</p> <p><br />http://webspecial.volkswagen.de/infotainment/de/de/manuals.html?d1=discoverpro (VW Germany)</p> <p> </p>
