Devious service plans

Be very careful when you renew your service plan with VW. The fine print excludes things like when it is recommended to replace the cambelt BUT will not pay for the old roller and tensioner. Where is the logic in that????? Pure deviousness. I just wonder what else is hidden as an exclusion in the service plan. Similar experience to my guarantee which also had some funnies.
