Defective Parts

Volkswagen Das Auto thank you so much for your lack of customer service & the smallest attempt to help. My 2011 1.2 tsi Touran has been diagnosed with a timing chain that needs to be replaced at 56000km, after I searched the net for information I found a TPI ***/5 released by VAG motor Group on 01-Oct-2012. The info I found points to a blunt dye that was used in manufacturing the chain and that caused the early wear. this problem affects VAG engines most common seems to the TSI range. VWSA stands firm that the TPI was released not due to a admittance of a fault but merely as a product improvement. Most posts from the international community says that the timing chain was replaced under warranty, unfortunately we bought the car second hand and out of warranty.
