Defected Vehicle
I had taken ownership of my VW Polo TSI 1.2GP in May 2016 from Weiss VW Stamfordhill Durban with a mileage of 17000km (+-). Within the 1st month of taking over, I had a problem with my back tyres which Weiss VW had replaced. Further down the line I had a problem with the battery which they had changed. When I had seen the history report on the vehicle, it showed something about a battery issue they had at the branch in amanzimtoti (I stand to be corrected). Early 2017, I had taken my vehicle in which had a faded patch on my bonnet of which the sales manager, Cindi as well as a guy by the name of Anand tell me that I should fit half the bill of the bonnet being repaired / resprayed as they cannot establish where the fault lies which I was not happy about. I now see that the fault definitely was not on my end as the entire bonnet looks like I owned the car for 20 years if looked at from the front. The rest of the body of the vehicle shines as if a new 1. Another factor to add is that when I had taken ownership, there were a few paint issues / scratches / slight dents if you may call it however I was told not to worry as they are aware of it & wont affect me when I trade my vehicle in with them when I want to. I had taken the car back to Weiss VW on a numerous of occasions with regards to the Central Locking System as I have the car to set to open the drivers door only when I press the remote once however it does that at times but on most occasions it opens all the doors. They had replaced components apparently & up till this date I still have issues. My seats were not scotch guarded as they said it was & my seats are damaged of which the service manager Clive (I must commend this gentleman on his service. He has never disappointed me & also tried his level best) arranged for a velet for my seats for a few inconveniences but not for the listed complaints I have. I had emailed Shaun Earle who is in charge on numerous occasions & till today have not received not even so much as a hello or hi. Looking at the track record, I strongly feel that that I was given a raw deal by being sold a defected vehicle of which I am still paying for which utterly disappoints & infuriates me. I have mailed as I have said & not received any feedback, I am reaching out to you to have action being taken & this being taken seriously failing which I will taken further action to achieve the desired results. I have no idea as to why I have not been contacted. Should I have purchased a top range vehicle, brought in more business, is it cause of me being indian, do I need to be a premier client or something for my complaints to be heard, actioned & for me to be a satisfied client??? I have also been a VW fan however I have been left with a very bad taste in my mouth because of the after sales service! All that was of concern was to sell the vehicle or to rather sell the vehicles & make target. Anything after that is off no concern. On Friday last week their salesman called me to run an application for finance approval of a new vehicle. Why on earth should I even buy a new car from them? Please understand my fury, rage, disappointment & step in an assist! there are many complaints of similar nature with regards to Weiss VW. Please contact me urgently. I have highly frustrated, angry, disappointed & upset to be driving around in a vehicle with so many defects, looking as if I owned my vehicle for over 20 years if looked at from the front, unsafe due to the central locking issue. I would like for the most senior director to be in contact Thank you
