Deceit when taking service plan. No transparency.

I bought a car at VW in 2019 Jan, this car was a demo, 2018 Oct model. I was offered a 5yr or 120 000 km service plan. I took it. Now im told my service plan ends on the 29th of September. To my knowledge my service plan is supposed to end at 120000 or in Jan. Now Hoopers is telling me the service plan is from when the car was released from the factory, not from when I bought the car. Nobody told me this!!! Why am I told 5 year plan when the plan will actually be 4 yrs 9 months??
