Damage to vehicle post part replacement
On Wednesday, 9 December the Catalytic Converter light on my VW Polo Cross lit up on the dash. I immediately called VW Roadside Assist who told me to take it to the closest dealer for inspection. Scott the Client Service Manager took the vehicle, ran diagnostics, brought it back in a few minutes and told me the light is off and should not come back on. As I drove the vehicle out of the driveway the light came back on. Several messages later and not a call back from Scott, I called Roadside Assist again. My car was booked in as a breakdown and a part ordered. On Friday afternoon, 11 December after calling the dealership all day, I got a call from Scott saying my vehicle was ready for collection. Without a car or lift I could not get there and as he so rudely stated, he did not have a driver available to collect me. So I Ubered around for 2,5 days at my cost as he also did not have a car to help me out. On Saturday morning I collected the car. Took the car to Gardens Hospital. Upon opening the door I noticed damage to the tire and rim. I immediately called the dealership to report it. As we came up De Waal drive, two dash lights came on again. VW taking no responsibility for damage!
