Courtesy vehicle
I dropped my vehicle off at VW Bryanston as there was something wrong with gearbox as there was a oil leak from the computer box or one of the computer boxes linked to the gearbox. after a quick assessment of the the vehicle I was told the vehicle should not be driven and that I should leave with them, which I done I was then told the vehicle will with them maximum 3-4 days. A few minutes ago , I called to do a follow up and I was told the vehicle will be there for another 9 days as a they need to order a specific part for my vehicle from Germany. All I asked for in return was a vehicle while my vehicle will be with them for 2 weeks. It's Christmas I have things to do, I can't afford to be without a car. I would think that a vehicle that will be sitting with VW for almost 2 weeks , would qualify me for a courtesy vehicle. instead i'm being told of a waiting list. a dealership full of cars and they don't have a single courtesy vehicle is available. It's funny how there's waiting list when I witnessed first hand, how people dropped their vehicle's of a 2 hour service and were granted vehicle all because they made a huge noise. The repairs to my vehicle is money in their pocket.
