CONSTRUCTION / CHARACTERISTIC OF GC TSI

I have now reached the peak of my irritation with the above supplier. I have had my car for 15 months and of the 15 months I have been in and out of Alpine Motors Pinetown with the same problem and everytime the car went in and came out I would be told that the noise cannot be heard and its the characteristic of the vehicle I must live with it, it will not cause any damage. On Wednesday last week 21.01.2015, I booked the car in again as the noise was now very aggressive when its being started and the rattling noise from the engine compartment was continious, even people outside the car could hear this noise. The car stood there the whole of Wednesday cause the noise could not be heard, after we made a big noise about it the service centre manager got involved they cold started the car on Thursday mroning and wow....they finally heard the noise, now the car is out of warranty VW SA keeps saying its a construction characteristic. My argument is that it was never there when I purchased the car it only started after a month and I have been on their case about this ever since. I have lost hours at work I have lost all my leave last week. I am disgusted and apalled at the response.
