complaint Re: VW Dealer Ermelo

I am HT Ndlovu with contact number ***. ln November 2014 I took my vehicle (2009 VW Tiguan 1.4 T'S I with registration:FBK 077 MP) to Ermelo VW after it wouldn't start shortly after of a series of service intervals on 15/10/2014. <br> <br> On my arrival to the dealership , I was advised to leave the vehicle with them for their in depth diagnosis on the cause and event of the mechanical fault . On my numerous enquiries on the matter , they wouldn't tell their finding until 06/01/15 , they told me to buy a new engine at R 51 000 , when I said I can't afford that amount , they reduced to R45 000. <br> <br> In March 2015 I was told to fetch my car as they didn't have a space for its storage. When I got there to have it towed, I was astonished by the condition of the vehicle .It was discarded (with no engine nor gearbox in the bonnet) to a worthless vehicle body . When I enquired , I was told that they were going to re - ensemble the stripped parts only if I paid for the new engine .<br> <br> I contacted VW SA, on their feedback on 21/03/15 I was told to pay them for the new engine or stay with the engine less and gearbox less vehicle. <br> <br> Your intervention will be appreciated <br> <br> With regards
