Complaint on bad service from dealership and unable to repair my vehicle

My complaint is regarding the following:

Poor and terrible service from Volkswagen Witbank dealership for not being able to resolve a problem on a brand new vehicle and refusing to help me in any other way by cancelling the sale on the vehicle or giving me a new one. I bought a Polo 1.4 TDi 2015 Demo on the 23/08/2016. My first recognition of bad service and my first complaint was that I had to wait a whole month before receiving my new number plates and license. The sales person who was Brilliance told me he will phone me when it’s done and I never received a phone call. I had to go there myself to find out and when I did they never even made my number plates I had to wait until they made and fit it after waiting a whole month.
1. On the 26/03/2016 the vehicle started giving me problems. The picture below is the light that came on.
While I was driving it flashed repeatedly and while doing so my vehicle lost all of its power. The following day I took the vehicle back to the sales person and asked them to sort it out this was on the 29/08/2016. Brilliance was not there that day so Johan Fourie assisted me. I came to collect it on the 01/09/2013 and all seemed find Johan said it was a blocked diesel filter.

2. On the 03/09/2016 I was in Groblersdal with the vehicle while driving to Ruby River Lodge for a wedding the same light came on doing the same it had done last time. I left it in Groblersdal and towed it in on the 05/09/2016 to the nearest Volkswagen dealership which was Middelburg. On the 08/09/2016 my service advisor at Middelburg Melissa phoned me and told me it was a loose boost pipe that caused this so they told me to come and collect the vehicle it is done.

3. On the 9/09/2016 while driving on the highway on my way to the Mall the vehicle did the same that same light came on and the vehicle power was dead. I took it back to Volkswagen Witbank on the 12/09/2016 and I spoke to Carel van Heerden the service manager who assisted me this time. They had the vehicle for a hole week driving it far distances to find the problem putting it on the computer and resetting an cancelling the light. The Friday 16/09/2016 they said we can come and collect the vehicle the problem was that when Volkswagen Middelburg put back the boost pipe they did not reset the faults that is why the light came on because the memory stored the fault.

4. The 17/09/2016 while we were on our way to Pretoria the light came on again with the same problem, I took it back immediately because I was late for an appointment that they. I gave the vehicle back to Carel and they gave me a curtesy vehicle until my vehicle was fixed. My car stood two weeks at that dealership waiting for a back order part to be replaced on the turbo. When the part arrived and they replaced it I came to fetch it on the 30/09/2016. After the vehicle broke down for the fourth time I went to see Kobus du Plessis the dealer principal. I told him that the service and amount of times this vehicle needs to come back to be fixed is unacceptable and that I was unhappy with the vehicle. I told him I want a new car and he refused so I said I want to cancel the sale and he refused as well. At this time I was very upset with the way they handled an upset customer and there delivering of service but I gave them a last chance to fix it.

5. I drove a whole week with the vehicle to Kriel and back where he worked and all seemed fine the vehicle was not giving problems, until the 07/10/2016 when we drove to town the same light came on and the vehicle lost its power, the problem after the fourth time was not resolved. This brand new vehicle bought with only 10 000 km on the clock broke down 5 times and now have 14 678 km on, most of the kilometers were put on by the dealerships test driving the vehicle all the time every time.

The only way Kobus du Plessis want to help me it to either trade in this brand new vehicle for a new one and pay more money on top of that or pay the rent of the vehicle if we want to cancel the sale. This is really unacceptable and never in my life thought that this is a way to handle or deliver great service to a customer who he is making money off. I payed R215 000.00 for a broken vehicle what they cannot fix or even know what the problem is and then they refuse to give me another vehicle and told me that I must keep this broken vehicle until the problem is resolved, which will be when? Every time my vehicle was there to be fixed I did not receive one phone call from any one telling me the progress on my vehicle I had to drive every time to the dealer ship myself to find out what is going on. I never received any job card to sign showing me what they have done on my vehicle one job being a warranty job so I have no proof of any work done on my vehicle. I never had a service advisor telling me one thing there was always someone else handling my vehicle and telling me a different story.

This dealership and there DP Kobus du Plessis clearly does not want to help me, I never fought with anyone like I did with this dealership and it gave me a bad taste in my mouth of Volkswagen. Please help me with this situation by getting what I deserve as a paying customer and a loyal customer of this brand before these people ruined it. Please help me fight them because I do not want to be treated like this anymore or drive I vehicle that I do not trust and leave me on the road every time. As a loyal and paying customer I deserve better service then this.

Regards
Pieter Clarence
********** <br **********
