Cluch not covered by Maintennance plan

My car burnt a clutch at 47 000 km and is under maintenance plan. I took it to VW and they diagnosed it and after that they called me and told me that I have to pay R8 500 for the clutch to be repaired. I told them that I don't have that kind of money, I will take my car and they told me that I have to pay R2 500 for diagnosing my car. The car had to be at VW for about a week. I went to pick my car yesterday and the engine was stripped and I couldn't tow it because of that. My car broke a USB port and I was also told that it is not under warranty. I am ****ed with VW. Why am I paying for a maintenance plan for a new car if most of the things are not covered. Unfortunately this matter won't rest, until I find closure. I will get to the bottom of this at all cost.
