Circus at VW Roodepoort
<p>I bought a Vehicle from The VW Master cars at the VW dealership in Roodepoort. This was in January 2016 and I did not receive a spare key for the vehicle I bought from the dealer as the Sale representative Lebo, that sold me the car did not give me one and when I followed up with him he stated that he would make one available I shouldn’t worry about it. 7 Months down the line I don’t have a spare key as yet and the ONE and ONLY key I have breaks and it’s Been a TOTAL nightmare ever since. I broke my key on the 27 of July and till today I have not received my spare key and I have not used my car since instead what I got from the VW Dealership is story after story and lie after lie. When I first broke the key the Sale rep told me I shouldn’t worry that he would bring the key over the very next day, than it turned to VW has a lot of keys with them and they are still looking. Fast forward 5 working days later, I still don’t have the Spare that is rightfully due to me and I’m told that I need to wait till they order a key. After a couple of days pass and I get called by an agent working at the parts Department and I get told that I need to pay R4000 for a Key if I need them to code a Key for me. I question this and then I’m told it’s for the other key that needs to be coded as they owe me a Key and I need to pay for the other one. Than my car get Towed to VW on 4th of August My Vehicle to the VW dealership IN Roodepoort and I was told that the Key would arrive the very next day and I would get my car than. This another Lie as I NEVER heard anything from the Dealership and I called and nobody was taking my calls the Sale rep Lebo or the parts agent Brandon. My Car spends another week at The Dealership at VW Roodepoort and I than decide to write a email to the Dealer Principal Anton Pillay on the 11 of August asking him to intervene and assist on this issue as nothing seems to be getting done, he than referred a Mr. Trevor Campling to assist and a Trevor did contact me the very same day and assured me that the Key was ordered a while back and is coming from Germany and I would get my car on the 15th of August without any questions and he assured me of this and also advised they would contact me with feedback the very next day WHICH HE DID NOT DO. TODAY IS THE 15TH of AUGUST and nobody at VW has contacted me or provided any feedback on this matter. I HAVE SPENT NEARLY 18 DAYS WITHOUT A CAR, instead I have got lie after lie even from top management. What puzzles me that a HUGE ORGANIZATION SUCH A VW does not have any spare keys on hand and I have to wait over 18days for a simple key that I should of got on the day I purchased the car from the Dealership. I have been inconvenienced and I cannot do my job without a car. I REALLY THINK THAT SUCH DEALERSHIPS ARE GIVING A VW SOUTH AFRICA A BAD NAME and DO NOT HAVE An IDEA WHAT IS GOING ON IN THEIR ON WORKSHOPS. I’m writing this post my car is still with DEALERSHIP in ROODEPOORT. I wouldn’t recommend anyone that I know or work with or clients I meet to ever by a car at the VW Dealership or Maters in Roodepoort as this might also happen to them. I Need SOMEONE HIGHER THAN THE DEALER PRINCIPAL to intervene. </p> <div id="m137" class="mail-message expanded" style="color: #000000; font-family: sans-serif; font-size: 13.696px; font-variant-ligatures: normal; orphans: 2; widows: 2;"> </div>
