Brand new car with a fault

I bought a brand new car in April 2017 from VW N1 city in Cape Town, a month later while driving the car gave an airbag warning light, I panicked as this could mean my life is at risk while driving the car. I went to report it, I was surprised how lightly the airbag issue was handled as one of the guy just reset the light and gave me the car back. As serious as an airbag issue is up until today I am still taking my car to vw, they always claim to have fixed the problem but within a day of driving my car I get an airbag warning light. This seems not to carry too much weight to them as I feel that my life is at risk and they are not doing anything different in handling the issue or to get the problem fixed. I am so exhausted, I am so upset for being troubled by a brand new car that I have only used for 5 months. I do not want to take back that car anymore as I do not trust it anymore, what if those airbags can launch while I am driving leaving me unconscious and causing an accident? They do not care about my life, my safety is compromised and I am starting to have regrets about vw. I need to do something about this but I don't know what to do at the moment.
