Beware of Buying a VW TCross 1.5T

After purchasing a new VW TCross 1.5T it suffered a tyre failure at 3500km while enroute to pretoria from Durban. To my surprise there are no tyres available countrywide for this vehicle. My vehicle came with Hankook 215/45/18. This size tyre is unavailable in any brand . I was left stranded in pretoria and had to fit a 225/40/18 to get home. On returning home i contacted alpine vw for assistance. After nearly a month of waiting vw SA sent up a used tyre for me. They asked me to wait until end of July when they expect tyres to be available. The original Hankook tyre was checked and found to be defective. The vehicle has since been back to TWT as it is pulling to the right . They rotated the tyres saying it is a tyre problem. In spite of these tyre issues VW SA and Hankook have no solution. 6 weeks later i am still waiting for tyres.
