Battery dies after a week of 60 000km service

This is so disturbing. I have had to spend a day and a half at home because my car was in at the workshop. I'm am a rep and need a car to be able to do my daily tasks. On Wednesday the 27/10 my car would not start. This was just after a week of being at a major service with Vw. As far as I know the first thingthat gets checked is the battery.? I am so ddisappointed that after paying over R2000 for a service now I sit with another problem. To make matters worse I was told there is a factory recall on the polo 1. 2. Why was it not done with the service? <br> <br> I had to beg and fight for a courtesy car because it's not my fault that the bat dies within a year... is it really genuine parts? Idoubt it.<br> I'm very disappointed in Vw Westgate and will take my car somewhere else for service where they can do a complete job the first time around
