Bad service even after logging a complaint with VW South Africa customer care
In October 2017 our vehicle 2013 Jetta VW DSG was attempted to be ****** the same day we informed Mr Jonny Maree from Lindsaysaker used vehicles– Kempton Park who was the sales man. We purchased the car from that specific dealership. The car was booked in Four almost three weeks. After fixing that there was something else wrong with the care and we informed them again. Shaanaaz who is in the servicing department could not trace our warranty details which we paid cash in January 2017 when we purchased the car. Another delay in December 2017 they could not assist as they confirmed they were nearing closure for holidays. My husband booked the vehicle in Jan 2018, after having to make arrangement to arrive late at work. After arriving at the dealer ship no one had booked the car after confirming they had to my husband had to walk away without anything been done to the car. The following day the care was collected from my husband’s work place the same afternoon my husband collected the vehicle only to find out at 16H00 that they are still working on the care or so said Shaanaaz. Who had had an attitude all the way when my husband spoke to the gentleman in the service department that did the work we found out that nothing was done the whole day on our car. We later found out that our vehicle was at the dealership the whole day and no work was done to it and only when my asked enquired after waiting 45 min at the dealership did work start on it. There has been numerous diagnostic test done one the car but something else lights up . If this is VW’s product why cant they find all the errors at once. Their diagnostics should be able to pic this as they are the experts in this field. Last week 17 Jan 2018 we complaint at VW national customer service. Spoke to Leyanda . To date no one has contacted me from the local dealership after they said they called my husband why I don’t know as I logged the complaint and gave my details for first point of contact. It’s really been a horrific experience and great danger to our lives as we driving a car with a door that’s not locking. Windows are multifunctioning so I really don’t know anymore.
