Bad Service

Morning all,

I need to bring something under the attention of Volkswagen South Africa.

I bought a 2019 Amarok V6 with 22 000km on the clock. On 29 000km and 2 months after I bought it the power steering pump broke. The bakkie stood at Volkswagen for about 3 weeks so that they could get a part from Germany.

The bakkie's under carriage also has rust all over as it came from Cape Town somewhere, I have now been struggling with Volkswagen from 08 April 2021 in this regards, my vehicle is standing at Volkswagen since 01 June and still no joy.

I have driven Ford's my whole life and I am being honest when I say I have not had any of these problems with Ford in the past.....

I want Volkswagen South Africa to get this sorted out this week! I am not going to wait around anymore, I had to pay a full instalment on my bakkie and did not even drive it for a full month now already if you combine the times it was at Volkswagen.

I keep getting phone calls saying that they are busy with it or awaiting the RAM, who ever that is, but nothing is really happening.

Honestly this is very bad service, I paid a small fortune for my Amarok and think that I have been MORE than patient up till now. I have driven out thousands of rands of diesel to and from the dealer up to now, which I honestly cant complain about the dealer as my contact there is really trying hard to get it sorted, but he is getting stonewalled by excuses and delays from VW SA the whole time.

At this point I am honestly feeling that I made a mistake buying this Amarok.... Although the bakkie is AWESOME and the dealer is also awesome, I am just not happy with how long my bakkie has been standing at VW, almost 5 weeks out of the 16 weeks that I have owned this bakkie now.

Please Volkswagen South Africa, give me a solution, I cannot wait any longer, this is ridiculous....
