BAD SERVICE

On the 2019/03/05 I took my vehicle to NTT Paarl for a service. they serviced the car, on the Invoice the was a Report stating that the is leakage of oil on gear box to be striped and quoted on. We never took notice of this note as they indicated that they still going to quote us on striping the gearbox. On the 2019/07/10 we took the car for a Major service because they said its above 150000km. they did the service but this time they have not mention gear box leakage on the invoice nor mentioning that they have worked on the gearbox. on the 2019/07/10 we asked them to diagnose any faulty things on the car so that we can fix it as we were having a trip to JHB. They gave us a quote of R15499.13 of all the things that needs to be fixed BUT Gearbox leakage was not on the quote. So on 2019/07/25 we fixed brake pads and the boot of the vehicle as indicated on quote. We drove on the 28/07/2019 to JHB but unfortunately we didn't arrived, when we were in Colesberg the car gears were locked we couldn't drove any further, we had to tow the vehicle to a safe place until we get it to be towed back to Paarl as what Henry said. We have incur a lot cost. We believe this was NTT fault because the car was always serviced by them no other company worked on our car. We met Henry on 2019/08/06 at his office, He said they worked on the gearbox but have not put any oil because the Technician used a Finger to check the level of gearbox oil and it was still OK. now we must pay for fixing gearbox.

I would like NTT Paarl to take full responsibility of the breakage of my car. because it is their fault that the was no gearbox oil in the vehicle. when it arrived in Paarl one of the Mechanics open the gearbox and said it was dry dry the was no oil. How can our car come back from the major service but they didn't put gearbox oil on it. They must pay all the cost we have suffered. We are not Mechanics we solely dependent on then to advice us of any faults in the vehicle. Also why was the Gearbox leaking oil on March Invoice but not appear in July Major service Invoice as they said they will still quote us on that. Why did Gearbox leaking oil did not appear in the Quotation of diagnosing any fault in the car. When ever they diagnose a fault we fix it you can see on the attached Invoices and quotes.
