Bad Car Servicing
I took my car for servicing at Capetown City Volkswagen on the 26 February 2015.
After fetching my car later on that day, on my way home the ABS and Hand Brake warning lights came on.
The next day I took the car back to the service centre, and they came back and told me it might be an ABS cable that has been eaten by rats, I mean my car was working fine until they touched it, just because I know nothing about cars, the pint out some cable I don't know and they estimate about R2500 to fix it. What I know is my car never had and ABS problem when it went there and now I am stuck with these lights that I must fix for my self.
They called me after for service rating and the lady said the service manager would call me, and till today he is still calling.
I have dealt with VW before in Johannesburg and I have never experienced such a bad service. When I asked them why they didn't pick up the fault during service they said they don't look at such things. I still say my car was okay before they touched it , why must the lights come on after driving for about 10KM?
I lost trust in VW now, worse that even the service manager never even called to find out why I rated them bad.
