BAD AND POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE

I am driving a VW car that is still under warranty. The car started having faults (displaying EPC and losing power). That is when I took it to VW Lindsay Saker Midrand to diagnose on (04/10/2016). They promised to check the problem and give feedback the same day. During the same day, they called back around 10am and they couldn’t dictate the problem (meaning nothing was wrong).

With several attempts calling them (the Supervisor, the General Manager) to try to get feedback, nothing concrete was provided. I have also requested a courtesy car from them in order for me to move around as travelling is part of my job that brings income to my life and nothing was given to me. VW did not even go an extra mile to try to get me a courtesy car instead my request was ignored.

It’s been 4 weeks since my car is taken to VW. I do not have any transport at the moment which makes it difficult to attend my business as well as family matters. To date VW cannot say what the problem with the car is exactly. They are not bothered to even give me proper feedback on what is happening. Or provide a courtesy vehicle to move around, so that I can give them enough time to find out the problem.

When I called them they don’t answer my calls, what is even painful is that the Principal Dealership promised to revert back to me after 15 minutes and he didn’t. I even went an extra mile of calling VW SA and they have promised to talk to the dealership to provide the courtesy car. It seems like they still refuse to give me a courtesy car.

I’ve never experienced such bad service in my life, I do believe they don’t know what to fix, as a result they change turbo, for what? I really don’t know. I think the only thing they know is just to change oil and oil filter. I am disappointed, disgusted and very sad that they can’t fix their own car.
