Airbag switch faulty

<p>I have a 2013 blue motion 1.2 model and my airbag switch start flashing earlier this year. As my service is due I thought I would enquirer then but to my surprise I was advised that the switch had fused and I needed to replace it. It apparently just happens normal wear and tear. Now this is a security feature and should have a decent life span. I can understand my immobalisor being faulty as I use it everyday, I can also understand my lights and my indicators however not a security feature airbag switch which I do not use everyday and should be functional for at least 72 months of a finance period after which in my opinion it should start giving problems. Your response would be apprecaited.</p>
