After Service Damage to Car

<p>I took my Car in for its 30 000km Service on 26/04/2017 where when I got there I was very impressed they walked with me around the Car to see if there is any damage which was none, all was good.</p> <p> </p> <p>They called me, told me my Car was done with the service I can come and pick it up at 15:00 and so I did. So after driving everything was fine I was happy so on Friday my Car alerted me that my tyre pressure was flat so I stopped at a garage and went all around checking my tyre pressure where I noticed that my left rear rim was damaged on the inside and 3 out of the 5 locknut caps was missing si immediatly I though well VW service center are the only guys that took of my wheels to check the brakes .</p> <p> </p> <p>I went back to the dealer on Tuesday as seen the service center are not open on weekends and also not on public holidays which was Monday, I Spoke to William the Service Manager where he said he will have a look at this on the CCTV and speak to the mechanic that worked on my Car.</p> <p> </p> <p>So he called me back on Thursday Evening told me that they could not see anything on the CCTV camera and that he spoke to the mechanic where he did not take of my wheel to check my brakes.</p> <p> </p> <p>So I asked him how did he then check my brakes and he rep**** through the rims so asked my self how are you able to do this, and even started Questioning did they even service my Car.</p> <p> </p> <p>So I took this up with VW Customer Interaction Centre where Chantel Mann was handeling my case. So she told me that sorry there is nothing we can do to help you we have taken issue up with VW Management at Wonderboom.</p> <p> </p> <p>So I asked her what the procedures are to check the brakes of my Car where she told me that when they lift the Car they can see it from below. So now I have two different stories of how my Car brakes are being checked, also I went to another VW branch to find out how they check the brakes and they told me that they do take of the Wheels off, so I am now completely confused, now I have 3 different stories on how VW checks your brakes ?</p> <p> </p> <p>I also told her that I had brand new front brakes in and they told me after 3000 km I have used 40% of my brakes.</p> <p> </p> <p>Now I am asking my self after I extended my service plan is it really worth it because to me it seems they are not really doing there Job and people are paying alot for service plans where your Car also just gets Damaged in the Process.</p>
