A VW Bidvest Macarthy Nightmare that could haunt you too!

Imagine buying a car, and in 3months it starts giving you issues. By issues I mean imagine the car turning off on the highway while you travelling at 100kph. Scarry right? Now imagine sending this same car back for the same issue not once, not twice, BUT FOUR TIMES! Absolutely shocking right? After an intense back and forth that has sent you back a couple of grand, you are given a different car. Not new, just different. Okay... But you still set back a couple of grand cause you had to make alternative means for transport whilst awaiting a company car and even after it has been granted to you, you can't use it outside of curfew hours. But... You have a permit and you're an essential worker. Hectic right ? Now imagine after all of that, you are incorrectly debited R4800 and you have been waiting for 5 days. Rent is due, you cannot pay for your accounts, the credit score you've been working so hard to build for a home loan is on the line and you feel absolutely powerless. Imagine that happening to you, or someone close to you. That's what VW/Bidvest Macarthy has put me through. And oh, I'm still waiting for the refund... Landlord is calling right now.
