7 Hours to tow a vehicle and currently still without a vehicle

I am absolutely DISGUSTED with the terrible service I am currently receiving from VW and despite numerous calls to assist the situation I am still being told nothing helpful and definitely no light at the end of a very very dark tunnel with their team! Yesterday my car would not start after stopping at a garage in the CBD of Cape Town - 5 MINUTES FROM THE CLOSET DEALERSHIP, CAPE CITY VW. My car is almost brand new as it was only purchased at the end of 2015. I called the dealership directly who did not answer their phone and called the Customer Interaction Centre at 7am. What followed was a nightmare of reasons for a delay of 7 HOURS to have my car towed just down the road. When my car eventually arrived at the dealership it was already 15h30 to which the dealership told me that they could not look at my car until the next morning (today) and could not offer me a courtesy car. I called the dealership again this morning only to be told that towed in vehicles are slotted in and therefore there is no guarantee that my vehicle will actually be assessed today and they would come back to me in the afternoon as to whether there is a courtesy car available to use. I was told numerous times yesterday that my calls would be returned with an update but I spent the entire day calling the team each time at the Customer Interaction Centre for feedback. Volkswagen is FAILING to understand CUSTOMER in your customer service / customer interaction centre - can anyone in the entire company spare a moment to think that they have a customer who is without a vehicle (could not get home from work yesterday and had to take a uber home, had to arrange a lift to work this morning and is currently very unsure how they will be returning home tonight), without the comfort of knowing when their car will actually be attended and without a proper diagnosis to know how long the vehicle will take to fix in order to make alternative arrangements. Perhaps only then they would understand the extreme frustration with the company and why they choose to visit Hello Peter to voice their absolute disgust at their service levels.
