3 MONTHS AND STILL WAITING FOR A SPARE PART

Having driven VW since 1990 I have now been pushed into a corner where the very emblem makes me sick! A relatively minor accident on 18 December threw us into what has become a nightmare of inefficiency and blatant lies! By 5 January we had all quotes collected and filed - the final go ahead to repair from all parties by 8 January. The part was ordered by VW on the 10th of January. 3 MONTHS ago!<br> VW SA advised that the part was not in stock and would be here by mid February - a long wait, but not too serious. The vehicle is not legal, so we are essentially without it.<br> From there it has been an *********** MESS of bad service. A call at the end of January moved the deadline to the beginning of March, and a written confirmation moved the \final"date to 20 March - that was more than 3 weeks ago"
