NOTHING
I have been with #Vodacom for 21 years. A creature of habit. Out of habit I am also not easily angered. Until I had to have my brand new IPhone X's screen repaired after taking out insurance with Vodacom. With this upgrade I decided to take their insurance, what could I loose? My phone went in on the 26th of January at Tygervalley Repair Centre - a simple screen repair. I was promised a 2-3 day turnaround time a day after my repair job was logged. For two weeks I heard NOTHING from them. After phoning and explaining to them that I am dependant on this phone where I set up all the advertising channels for our small business, I was told they "changed insurance companies and that the new company (Finrite) seems to be an even bigger problem than what the old company (CELLSURE) was"- quote. After a phonecall from Riaan van Wyk, I felt a little better, especially when, after another week the insurance phoned me to approve the repairs and excess I have to pay. Then I waited another two weeks, where I heard NOTHING from Vodacom Repairs again. After e-mailing, still NOTHING. Phoned - NOTHING - they did not even take the time to phone me back at all. I went to the shop, spoke to Chene, the only person that truelly tried to help me, and STILL NOTHING! I tried phoning the HO number I was given and told to ask for the CRM department, I was put on hold for 10 minutes and after that they simply did not answer their phone. I tried e-mailing the insurance directly - NOTHING. To me it seems that Vodacom has become a whole lot of NOTHING, with no regard to their paying customers' needs. I am going into the 6th week of waiting for my phone to be repaired. My phonebill of over R3000 will be deducted for the 2nd time since I handed it in, with the insurance portion that is supposed to be my peace of mind. It is amazing how fast you get through to do an upgrade, but after that ... A WHOLE BIG VOID OF NOTHING!!!!!!
