Zero feed back from Vodacom
I was left without work for 5 months, after getting back from a contract job in West Africa, I had the joy of discovering that Vodacom has de-activated my sim, fine, I was in arrears, having had no access or internet to my emails for 3 months.
I have since paid the arrears amount, forwarded proof to Vodacom, did the whole Vodacom Subscriber Collections routine with an online reply that I will be contacted in 24 hours, well it seems you have run out of 24 hours at roughly 1000 Hours on the morning of the 7th of December, yet no reply. You have my email address, please get back to me, so that I may once AGAIN mail the proof of payment to you.
As for dialing 082015 or the "funny bit" here, is the fact that you need a number where you may dial me according your Vodacom Subscriber Collections email reply? REALLY? How about you re activate my sim and call me on my number?
I am also curious as to if Vodacom is going to "refund/provide" me the airtime and roaming for the months I have now had to pay in advance and those in arrears? Another little pet peef is the fact that your monthly statements reflect an amount of R0.00? No arrears there?
I really do need to have my sim re activated as I am left stranded without my mobile number, specifically for 2 way authentication to access online banking and other services.
So herewith I am waiting on a speedy reply, as it seems those at Vodacom have already assume the "its that time of the year" mentality, where you do not have to reply to or confirm to dates set out to your customers.
Best regards,
Best regards,
As is, have I yet to receive a call or a email from you? If you think for one second that this is the way to treat customers, you are making a big mistake.
You have until close of business today to contact me on my number or email. I will not be available for calls after 1630 as I am leaving SA for 2 months.
I am also handing this matter over to the ombudsman. I am herewith requesting copies of each and every single contract with Vodacom, so that I may hand this to my lawyer for further investigation to possible charges against Vodacom and its CEO.
I bid you a nice day.
