Zero Empathy for Customers

I initially logged a request on 2 Jan 2022 to have my wifi suspended as was no longer in a place where I could use it since 1 Jan 2022. I also called to log a request to have my wifi reinstalled (relocation) on the 12th of Jan. I was told it would take 30 days due to your process etc. During the call and my subsequent calls to the agents, I have made it clear that I require the wifi/fibre as I use it for work and I pleaded with them to expedite the query.

I was then told that it is impossible, so I opted to cancel as I need fibre urgently for my work and there can not afford to pay for it if I am not working. Therefore I need to procure an alternative solution. I am told that the cancellation also takes 30 days therefore can only be effected in February.

It certainly doesn't make sense to me to pay for 2 months for a service I am not utilising and that is also crippling me from earning an income as I work from home and need the service in order to work.

After more calls to vodacom, I am still waiting for the cancellation. The query is still pending however you are still debiting.
