Zero Customer service - Porting of number

On Thursday the 5th Jan 2017 my partner opened a contact at the Centurion mall Vodashop, she wanted to port her number from MTN to keep her original number. She was instructed to go to MTN to get a code what she then would need to give to Vodacom. The next day (Friday) she went into MTN also in the Centurion mall to get this code, she was instructed that this was incorrect and that Vodacom need to do the entire porting from their side. She proceeded back to vodacom, only to not be served as they were to busy. Saturday we were in Menlyn Shopping Center so thought we would be able to go into a vodashop their and they might be able to assist. We were told we needed to go back to Centurion mall as the contract had already been actived so porting will not be able to be done, the contract would need to be cancelled and new one started. While at Menlyn we called the Centurion store and left a message for the manager to call us (Kosta), he never called us back. Sunday we went back to Centurion mall to try sort this out AGAIN. We found Kosta and explain all the above. He agreed that we never should have gone to MTN and this all could have been done instore. He did something on the PC and an SMS was sent to the MTN number with a code for porting. He proceeded to cancel the original contract and start a new one. We were told we would recieve a second code and once we have that all would be well. To this day we have not recieved this code. Wednesday the 11th we had to call the Centurion shop as the contact had not been initiated. He (Kosta) said he needed a code still, he is unable to do anything with out this code. We left it waiting for this magical code. He (Kosta) said that he would contact MTN to see what the issue was. By Friday 13th I was fed up and called MTN porting services to find out what is going on, after some more terrible service from them I was told that had activated the porting service on the 8th already (The Sunday we went into Centurion). I called the store to be told Kosta is busy, I left a message to call me back, no call back was recieved. I called again, no call back was recieved. I called AGAIn and instructed the person to give Kosta the original code and that he must activate the porting, I now assumed he is to embarresed to speak to me. Sunday the 15th I start calling the Centurion mall store from 9am. After 9 calls that were not answered eventually someone picked up. I asked to speak to Kosta, I was told he is off for the weekend and will be back Monday. I asked to speak to another manager, this person was busy, I asked to leave a message. No one called me back, I called again and demanded to speak to a manager, I was told again that this person was still busy. I left yet another message. no call back. It is now MOnday the 16th I have heard back from NO ONE.

In this day and age how can service be so bad.
