Your personal information is not safe with Vodacom

On 31 July 2020, Vodacom sent personal information regarding my account to somebody. The only connection that that person had with my account was that I had called them from that number… and it wasn’t the first time that they had done that so I published a review here on Hellopeter. The genius that called me completely refuted my claim that Vodacom was contacting people that I had called, asking: “Where would we get that information from?” Now that I have proof, proof that I’ve submitted to Vodacom, they’ve gone radio silent, and all promises to call me regarding the matter have not been honoured. I still want to know where they got all those numbers from, and who gave them the right (or the authority) to call all those people.

Secondly, this joke of a network provider made me jump through hoops to cancel my contract… a contract that I’ve been paying R599 for… now I suddenly have to pay over R800. I desperately need somebody to help make sense of this because this is absolute *******! Customer Services said that my contract was done; the Cancellations department said that it wasn’t. They can’t even agree between internal departments looking at the same damn profile.
