YOUR CANCELLATION TELEPHONICALLY WILL NEVER WORK. ********!!!!!

I have never dealt with such poor service! My contract was due to expire on 26th October 2020. I was aware that prior to the contract expiring I was to call in(one months notice) and cancel which is what I done. I called on the 28 September 2020 to cancel my contract. The lady I spoke to was giving me a better deal "that only people who are cancelling will get" I told her to let me think about it and she can call me back. She didn't. I called back on the 05 October 2020 and was in fact confirming again that I wanted to cancel my contract when it expires. Take note this is still in the "we require one month's /20 day notice prior to the termination date". I then sent an email to customer service stating the following: Good Day Tamela

I called the cancelation department on the 29th September and again today.

I want to make it clear that I want the cancellation to take place when the contract ends. Not before, I am not cancelling my contract early, as I know this will cost me. I also requested that my number be prepaid once the contract has been terminated.

Thank you. Kind Regards Rae Henley

And guess what response I got? THAT DAMN AUTOMATED EMAIL!!!!!

I left it thinking that all is sorted as from my side I did everything they "required".

To my absolute horror a debit order went off in November!!! I called them every day after that they have no records of my calls. I need to know what happened to the recordings?! I know very well the days I called. What QA is at Vodacome that doesn't listen to calls after employees ensure that what the client wants the client gets?

I then received two apology emails from customer services. I though okay this happens I'll let it go.

GUESS WHAT?!!!!! Another debit order went off in December 2020!! I called AGAIN and the lady advised that my contract was only cancelled on the 3rd of December. I laughed to avoid the lovely lady from feeling my wrath and vulgar.

Why is there nothing in place where we can email requests? I would think this is the most efficient way. All other companies do it. How is Vodacom number 1 with this service?

Where are the recordings? It's always stated that calls are recorded. I take it that because I am involved in the recording, I am allowed to hear them too?

If the recordings somehow "disappear" how is one to trust their service provider.

I have sent an email with all the dates calls were made, from which number and referenced the x2 ladies I spoke to who then sent the lousy apology emails.

My vodacom number is *** My contact number is ***

Hi

Necessary credits done meaning what exactly?

You were paid in November, the December debit order was disputed and reversed.

Kindly confirm that I do not owe Vodacom anything. I would hate for my credit score to decrease as a result of the incompetence of your staff & poor organisation procedures.

Can i get an invoice or letter stating that I do not OWE YOU?!
