I complained about recurring data nt updating and was told I have to request a detailed statement. Which I di in writing with copies if ID Etc. Then received an email :Dear Hennie I have requested from our back office to forward you itemised billing as requested. Your reference number is 1- ********** 5504. You will be contacted within 24-48 working hours.

Not suprised that no reply was received within 24 to 48 hours I followed this up several times during the past 7 days. This morning I at last received the following reply:

Dear Hennie, Thank you for your email. Due to the time period that has passed since your last interaction with Vodacom, we need to verify that you have permission to request information on this account by asking you a few security questions: Debit order date Bank name account type. Kindly note that the verification we received for you account is only valid for 96 hours.

If this is not peofessional stupidity I dont know what is. Why did they not just answered me within 48 hours. How long is this now going to take.

Still waiting for the detailed account. I am more scared of you answering me than the warning about phishing. I might have a fright if you actually reply with something other than standard replies that means nothing. Talking to a computer does not solve problems.
