Yet another Day light ******* & bad attitude from Vodacom

So My wife is currently in Mozambique and vodacom decided to activate roaming on her line without her request, knowledge and approval. Same thing happened to me whiles in Lesotho a year back, Queried it & Vodacom just ignored me

Below is a standard, insensitive & despicable response from Vodacom when she queried

"Dear Petunia Thank you for your email. Please be advised that top up roaming is automatically activated on your line at all times whether you are in South Africa or abroad you need to request for it to be deactivated before going abroad or request for sms roaming only. It is the client’s decision whether they want to make use of the service or not whiles abroad. Have a good day further. Kind Regards, Tanya Phillips Customer Care eService Team"

It really doesn't make sense to me cos it works in Vodacom's favour which is profit focused

For Vodacom to have such a financially draining setting on automatic without users knowledge & consent is improper & ********* not forgetting ********** & greed

The response is pathetic, inconsiderate & unsympathetic

It is like leaving a tap running & relying on the user to close it. Or leaving all doors open & relying on tenant to lock them. All these without their knowldge

How can Vodacom conduct itself like this during these financially difficult times, They are already overcharging us by Data & calls costs so is the aim to drain us completely?
