Yet again Vodacom billed me for a cancelled contract.

When was the last time that you felt so powerless that you wanted to pull all your hair from your head? Well this is where I am currently with Vodacom. I have truly tried all avenues to get an contract cancelled with Vodacom and still they are billing me. No one it the whole of Vodacom cares for their customers, does not matter how long you have been a customer... Sheryl Moodely, a Executive Client Liaison, promised that this billing issue would be resolved on the 15th of March 2017 but nope, nothing has been done or corrected. My question is how one escalates such an issue within Vodacom. There is no way that you can contact or speak to a manager. Every time I speak to a consultant, after holding on for ages (I wonder if this is another revenue stream for Vodacom, let their customers hold on if they phone from a non Vodacom line) I need to explain the issue from the beginning with a lot of different reasons and the last answer was one of the best " Maybe you need to speak to Cell C because you ported your cancelled number to them" What? Is there someone that can assist me with getting this resolved one and for all? Surely after struggling for 5 months to sort this out there should be an escalation policy or route that I can follow?

I have spoken to Sheryl Moodely, a Executive Client Liaison, again. It seems that Vodacom is trying to shift the blame for this mis hap. Sheryl kept on using words like "If you have cancelled the contract". I have cancelled the contract and Sheryl have confirmed that the issues was resolved in her mail dated 15 March 2017. Here is the mail from Sheryl:

"Dear Jacques Lombard

Thank you for taking the time to contact our office with your concerns. We hope that this email finds you well.

Kindly be advised that the contract term date for ********** 312 is 15 February 2017.
We have requested cancellation and processed a credit amount for one month to the value of R308.89.

Please accept our sincere apologies for any inconvenience caused

Kind regards,
Sheryl Moodley"

I rep**** to this mail and stated that I am not happy with the outcome but there was no further communication from her. I left it there and gave Vodacom the benefit of the doubt that this was now resolved. After asking Sheryl why she did not reply to my mail she stated that the info on the system could have changed after she helped me... What? So Vodacom can edit my account details as they please even after I gave them instructions to cancel my contract ect. This contract legally expired because I gave notice but Vodacom is still billing me *******ly for it! I have spent 3 hours on the phone today, of which most was to hold on for someone, from my MTN phone. The sad part is if Sherryl took the time to make sure that the contract is cancelled, today’s phone calls to Vodacom would not have been necessary. Again I wanted to escalate the issue and again there is no escalation proses. How can a Vodacom customer get something like this resolved if the consultants does not do their job and you cannot escalate?
