Yet again very poor service from Vodacom
Yet again I’m writing a review on the absolutely poor service of Vodacom. Last time I’ve written that my father past away and I need to know what is on his name because he was in arears and I received a lot of calls but no-one could give me the number it was for.
Just to make it clear. I have power of attorney of my mother’s affairs.
This time it is again that I would like to transfer the contract into my mother’s name. Last month they’ve disconnected the phone and I’ve battled to get the amount of the arears on the account that my mother took over to pay it and to activate it again. After a lot of hassle (counted, talked to 11 people on one day) I got the amount and I’ve paid. First they’ve told me to send an email to *** to change the contract to my mother’s name that I’ve done but I did not receive a reference number. I called AGAIN and this time they told me I must go to the shop to change it. We’re in lockdown so I can’t go to the shop now.
Today I’ve called to get the amount payable to ensure it does not get disconnected again, nobody can assist me and the lady, Yolanda told me to send an email and not to go to the shop and she can’t give me the amount to pay because my father are deceased until it is transferred. Does the people that work for Vodacom have any idea what they are doing? I’ve been back and forth with Vodacom and this is the most pathetic service I’ve ever received.
Please take note I will not pay anything on this account. I’m not going to transfer it to my mother’s name anymore and will get her a contract from a company that actually want our business.
I personally have 2 contract that I will move to another company that is not this pathetic.
