Yet again it has to be vodacom
I recently posted a review on hello peter about vodacoms poor customer experience about an order i had done online and had to wait 3 weeks for, after me posting my review on hello i had got the best results and thats because of my review on hello peter however that did not stop there with vodacom i recieved a text message notifying me that my bill would be R420 when i signed up for the contract which supposed to be R349 but because i recieved my device on the 17th of September 2019 it was not even supposed to be R349 it was supposed to be pro-rata charges. So i called in and spoke to one of the representives and advised her and she asked me how much airtime was allocated to me on the contract every month i told her R175, she then asked me how much did i get for the month of September i said it was R175 she then told me because i recieved the full airtime allocated to me i had to pay for it and i told her yes i will pay the R175 which is only fair but i recieved my handset 17 days into the month and that should be pro rated becuase im not going to pay the full price of the device when i never had the device from the 1st of September she then said she will esculate it and they will pro rata charge me for the handset. On the 23rd of September 2019 vodacom decides to debit my account for R34,66 + R175 which they was not suppose to do! My debit date is set for the 1st of each month and there was not enough funds in my account for the debit to go through and bank charges occured which i had to pay. So i called in spoke to a representative by the name of mapaseka and she was the most helpful person from the vodacom team she told me she will esculate it and they will refund me the bank charges and also advised me theres a penalty that i had to pay to vodacom because the payment did not go through and vodacom will remove that penalty becuase it was a default on vodacoms end for debiting my account early i also advised her about the problem i had with vodacom prior to this and a representative advised me she will speak to her manager and they will send me out a gift for my inconvenience which i havent received she then said i would have to call the after sales department and she provided me with the number.I then advised her the device i had ordered was a hauwei P30 lite dual sim but i had recieved a hauwei P30 lite single sim and if i can go into a store and have them update the software to make it a dual sim because it can take two sim cards but only is allowing one sim to work she said i can try but they might charge me. Why should i pay anything for that when i got a device that i did not order it is vodacoms fault for sending a device that only allows me to use one sim card she then said i need to speak to the after sales department i also advised her the number they provided me with belongs to someone else becuase i was receiving text messages for that person of they banking details visible to me she said i need to go into the store and they will give me a new number and there's a possibility that i would had to pay for it. My question is why must i pay for the mistakes that vodacom made? Do they not have people thats working there that are experts in they job? This is my second time i am having issues with vodacom and i can only imagine how many more times im going to be going through hell with vodacom. This only makes me think that vodacom is incompotent. So to vodacom you promised me a gift forcmy inconvenience for my last issue i had with you guys which i never recieve, my bill is incorrect for the month of September, you guys debited my account before the debit date which costed me bank charges which you guys have to refund me,sent me a device that is not dual sim enabled so if i go into a store the software update i am not going to pay for that and i recieved a recycled number where now i have to go into a store and get a new number and i will not pay for the number! Fix up you mess and get your house in order!!!
