Years of fighting and headaches, robbing you of your hard earned money
I opened a contract last year, then a while later upgraded from uChoose to Smart L plus CLOSED line and made very specific and frequent mention for it to be the CLOSED line and NOT OPEN.... The phone was my ex-husbands and he was arguing with me infront of the vodacom consultant to make it an open line to which i said NO DEFINITELY NOT because its a contract on MY NAME debiting MY BANK account and I said no....
What did the consultant do??? MADE IT AN OPEN LINE OF COURSE....
A month later I get a bill... R7600!!!!!!!! Becuse of "out of bundle" charges which I knew was going to happen and thats why I asked for a CLOSED line...
I call Vodacom and tell them what happened and what do they say?????????????????? SORRY MAM I CAN ONLY HELP YOU IN 3 MONTHS TO MIGRATE YOUR LINE............???????????????? ANd what happens in those 3 months???? My bill gets to over 25****!!!!!!!! Over R 25 000!!!!!!!! And then what happens??? Vodacom migrates my line and charges me R1000 migration fee?? LOL
I then asked for vodacom to cancel all the packages and extra data bundle on that number, for only the device and migration to the uChoose 230 to be for that number and then what does vodacom do???? THEY CHARGE ME FOR 2 5GB, THE OLD PACKAGE AND THE NEW PACKAGE AND MY BILL IS SITTING AGAIN AT R3800 INSTEAD OF R1500.....
So I call vodacom for the *** time and tell them of their mistake AGAIN and what do they do??? Credit me the Smart L+ and ONE 5gb data bundle and tell me the credit will only fall on NEXT MONTHS INVOICE.. SO IM STILL STUCK WITH A R3800 BILL FOR THIS MONTH!!!!!!!!!!
I HATE VODACOM. HAAAAAAAAAATE VODACOM I HAVE BEEN A LOYAL CLIENT FOR YEARS AND WILL NEVER RECOMMEND TEM TO ANYONE AND WHEN MY CONTRACTS EXPIRE IM MOVING OVER TO CELL C!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Im now a divorced single mother, ex not paying his phone bill and a 3rd of my salary needs to go to your stupidity?? It's not fair and I'm completely disgusted with the service and how you jump at the opportunities to ***** money!!!
