Xbox deal miscommunication and non service
Vodacom is currently advertising an add-on deal onto your contract to get an xbox one s and 3 games.
I am an existing client and having been trying to get this deal for several weeks. I have called in, spoken to Vodacom on direct messenger and have been told that I need to go into the store as this is an in store deal only. With lockdown being in place since 26th March, the fact that this deal still required you to do into store didn't make sense but I adhered. With us going down to level 4,i have been to 3 different stores, standing as long as 2 hours in a queue to get into the shop, only to be told by all 3 stores that they cannot assist and recommending that I call the sales department as they should be able to assist me with getting this deal onto my contract. They are just sending me from pillar to post.
I don't understand how the deal can be for in store only but there are no stores able to assist. Consideration needs to be made to assist your existing clients online for this deal. You have all my details, how hard can it be to add it onto my account via telephone. It Feels as if nobody wants to go the extra mile to assist me and would rather have me go do business somewhere else.
We are in lockdown and I was hoping my service provider would want to assist and help me cope with being stuck at home but I'm not so sure anymore.
Please advise.
