Wrongly billed for Entertainment Services.

I manage the Vodacom account for the company I'm employed at and after a few months of high bills for certain users, I had to investigate the usage. Upon scanning the invoices I found that two of the cellphone numbers had "Entertainment Services" billed to their numbers. After querying this with the users, both confirmed that they did not subscribe to any content or subscription service and have not been getting any content to indicate as such. Hmmm. I then contacted our corporate account manage and she got her team to cancel and block the subscription service. I was interested to find out how this could have happened and after googling, not surprisingly found that there were many Vodacom users who had been victim to this. As a safety precaution, I checked my 3 contract numbers to ensure that I haven't been duped as well and LO AND BEHOLD. Duped I have been! Apparently I've been paying for "Entertainment Services" subscription from May 2018 this year at a lovely sum ranging from R250 to R280 per month on my one contract. After further intense googling, a fellow Vodacom victim shared how to stop the subscription due to many complaints of the ineptitude of the Vodacom call centre and retail store staff on this subject. To my surprise, all you have to do is log in to Vodacom Live (a website that I HAVE NEVER BEEN TO), select my subscriptions and click on cancel and then click unsubscribe. So, I followed the steps and to my complete irritation, found that I had a subcription ( I did not subscribe to any service) of R10 per day to something called P-squarem-hunkydory-c-01. What the hell is that?? Firstly, I am a 34 year old grown ass woman with bills to pay and a very busy work and home life. Where in heavens name would I find the time or the inclination to subscribe to any dumb content services. I'd much rather spend the money on a chocolate or save up the R280 per month for a stunning pair of shoes from Steve Madden. Secondly, where is this so called content that I've subscribed for? I. GOT. JACK. **** FROM YA'LL. ZERO content was sent to my cellphone number for this subscription services so to me, this is theft. I've been a long standing client with Vodacom, I pay my bill every single month. My phone bill for all three numbers range from R2 ********** per month. You are the most expensive network provider with data yet I remain a customer because this is how it goes in this country. I did not subscribe to any content or subscription services. Please refund my money back to me for the months you've debited from my bank account being May to September 2018. This is theft, otherwise. I'll be looking at other network providers and will be advising my company to do the same, until I see a favourable reply from Vodacom.

Reviewer Update
Tasneem Abrahams After logging my complaint, I received a call from a Vodacom "Solutions Expert" on the 26th September saying that I will be refunded for the erroneous Entertainment Services" I was charged. Either a refund will be made to my bank account which takes 14 days or a credit to my account to be offset against future payments. I chose the credit. Lo and behold, yesterday (16th October) I received my statement - the credit is not reflecting. Not sure why I expected more - Vodacom runs true to form. Disappointing their customers once again. Vodacom - please do what you said you're going to do. I'm looking forward to seeing my amended statement
