Wrongful Sale of Data Packages
About a month ago i gt a call from Vodacom saying that i qualify for a platinum data package which consisted of 5gigs data.During the sales conversation i asked the consultant whether i could transfer data on to my existing contract numbers and he said it could be done. All i needed to do was to put the sim into another phone and transfer data.On arrival of the simcard,i inserted it into another phone and realised that data could not be transferred onto my existing contract numbers as discussed with the consultant.I called Vodacom to cancel the contract which by the way i was transferred from one person to another.2 weeks later i find out that they are going to deduct R800 from my account.I have already sent complaints to customer care and contacted customer care and received no help. Can someone advise me on how to contact an Ombud because i need the sales conversation to be listened to and the contract to be cancelled. This company doesnt conply with TCF rules
