Wrongful Debit Order Cancelation

Cancelled my debit order without my consent causing a missed payment to occur. When contacting them after a Clearscore notification informed me of the situation, causing my credit to decrease, they said the debit order bounced because there was insufficient money in my account. I then checked my bank statements and noticed there was more than enough money in my account due to my pension having been paid the previous day.

I then went to a Vodacom branch where they called the support care who informed me that the debit order was stopped by someone else on their end.

I want to know how this was possible and why they think it's okay to cancel someone's debit order without their consent. Now I have to sit with this mark on my credit, not because of any wrong doing on my part but on Vodacom's part in a wrongful cancellation of a standing debit order.

My family have been loyal customers to Vodacom for 28 years, and this is the thanks we get.
