Wrong surname on invoice regardless of Smart ID, Passport and Fica documents
When I app**** for a new Data contract in July 2019, I gave Vodacom a copy of Smart ID with my ****en surname, copy of divorce certificate, FICA documents from ABSA and specifically requested to open the data contract on my CORRECT surname, which should be my ****en name. Many years ago I had a mobile contract with Vodacom while I was still married, but regardless all the documentation that I provided, they STILL opened the contract on my old married surname which I made very clear should not show anywhere. Not on a statement, invoice, email letterhead. A year later I still see that horrible married surname, just because my old wrong surname is stuck on their system. I fought for about 3 hours on they day just to get my contract FICA approved and made it a prerequisite, that I wont take out the contract unless the correct surname is showing, as currently registered at Home Affairs, as on my Passport, Smart ID, all my FICA bank documents all my proof of residence.
I have mailed the sales lady numerous time, she does not even respond. Her email address is ***.
Who can help me. This is REALLY bad service. Either we fix that surname or I go to a company who knows how to register and display the correct surname on an invoice!
