Wrong LTE Advice.
I got a LTE contract and got a free home router. I went to Vodacom Menlyn - and was told to replace the router a Mobile Huawai 5576 will defintely work.
Now I am out R1200 and customer care tells me the sim is locked to the alcatel ****py router that doesnt work??
Since its a contract how does one get out of this - or how can Vodacom fix this???

It is with the cooperation and feedback from valued clients such as yourself that we are able to identify any areas of improvement within our organisation. As per discussion on 2024/10/27 at 15:45:58, we have sent this to the store in question and feedback is as follows:
The Store Manager Darren Walsh has been in touch with you and the situation has been discussed,
You were unable to advise who in store advised that the mobile router should work. You were not wanting the Alcatel router unlocked but rather that the small pocket router made available to take the sim. Which unfortunately cannot work due to being a home internet package. You have also consulted with Amanda on Saturday and were offered an option of migration as the second router was not purchased in store but you are not wanting to pay the migration charges. As per the Store Manager you seemed happy with the call made and will opt for a prepaid sim in the smaller router at a later stage.
