WRONG LAPTOP on upgrade deal received
Sunday 7 June 11:20 I phoned *** - upgrades opt 3. Spoke to Mojalesa. I enquired about upgrades on my *** nr and he assisted - I could upgrade. I was interested in laptop deals - please listen to your telephone recording... I was very clear about the fact that I am in need for a DELL or LENOVO 8GIG RAM laptop. He assisted and we went through various options and he offered me the LENOVO CORE i7 8GigRAM... I confirmed with hin more than once if it is indeed 8GIG RAM - and he confirmed.... all done and dusted R469pm X 36 months. This laptop will come with a ****le and 2G data every month. I have 7 contracts with Vodacom and this specific nr my daughter M is using, When the laptop arrived on Friday, I signed for it with RAM couriers and left the box as is until my daughter was home. She was very excited, as she is a student and her laptop broke and she is in dire need of one. She opened it up and started the setup - she noticed that the ****LE HAS NO SIM CARD... so not sure why and how we are supposed to use the 2Gig data pm... She started installing programs etc - updates... and then she discovered - its a 4GIG RAM laptop - and not 8 GIG.
So now... I need Vodacom to fix this... you sold me a Lenovo Core i7 8 gig RAM laptop @ R469pm X 36 months... with a ****le (supposed to have a sim)...
Needless to say how utterly frustrating it is to phone Vodacom... no one can help you and you need to phone multiple times... eventually on Firday @ 11:44 I spoke to Tarryn.... she too, like all other consuktanbts that EVER anser.. cannot see my detail because my details are on "THE OLD SYSTEM".... I mean really.... then get access to the old system or get my detail on your new system.
After that whole frustrating part, she was kind enough to listen to my story and she sai that she doesnt know if Vodacom has 8gigRam laptops... and that Vdacom will have to send someone to collect this one from me... and my question is, and then? What do you give me instead? We are in dire need of this laptop - I need what you sold me. Tarryn said she raised a request to a team leader to phone me.
No surprise that no one phoned me.
I need Vodacom to phone me *** and fix this false sale that your upgrade consultants make...
