I have previously lodged a complaint on hellopeter w.r.t a wrongful handset blacklisting of my iPhone 5 given to me by my sister. To summarize those past events, the phone was wrongfully blacklisted in mid November 2014 (ITC ref no.: ***5) and the phone was un-blacklisted on 2015/01/12. Even after the un-blacklisting the phone still receives no network reception. The phone was booked in at Vodaworld on 28/05/2015 for repairs as per Vodacom's recommendation. I have received feedback from the repairs department and now I have to pay R3324.24 for the handset to be replacemed. How does this make sense? The reason why the phone went in for repairs is in the first place because of Vodacom's wrongful blacklisting. Vodacom can't even give me a reason why they blacklisted it. All they say is that it was a system error. If a system error blacklisted my phone, get that same system error to repair my phone. I am beyond displeased with Vodacom and would never in my lifetime recommend you to anyone after the poor level of service I received. Thank goodness for the Cell C contract buyout promotion. I AM MOVING!
