Wrong contract
I am writing this email from the most distressed position.`
On the 18 February 2020 I was astonished by an advert you had online, as Valentine had passed it was an enticing offer for me and my partner.
I did have have my personal doubts as I’ve never had a great service with other service providers either than MTN (whom I’ve trusted for the past 10 years and still continue to do so).
After my enquiry, I recieved an email notification and a confirmation that a consulant will be intouch soon, to my astonishment a text came through on the 28 February advising that my application was succesful and my cellphones will be sent.
Today is the 02nd of March 2020 and the courier guy just dropped off one cellphone (instead of two as per your email and advert).I called the call center(@1:33) and spoke to Linda at the contracts department she was very rude and never offered to investigate the matter. She told me that if I’m not interested I should prepare for the cellphone to be collected. I tried to explain that what I have on my email was not what she saw on her screen.
I would like to be certain that your calls are recorded, If the terms of the initial contract that I app**** for are not met, I would like you to forward me a copy of the recorded discussion I had (which is none existant because no agent called to process my request). And I want compensation for the experience I had as this is appalling for my first time experience with your company.
In the interim I will also be in contact with The Consumer Goods And Services Ombudsman and the National Credit Regulator as there was no consent between the lender and the lendee.
