Morning I have been a Vodacom customer for 20 years + and have been a loyal supporter and happy customer up to now. During this period a had the same cellphone number [ ********** ]and a 3G contract with them. on the 31st October I received a sms from my bank account that R 1927-97 was deducted. This came as a huge surprise as I usually occur an account of R 650-00. I then immediatly logged into my bank account and discovered the following: 1. on the 25 th October the sum of R 154-68 was deducted 3 [three] times from my account. 2. on the 31 October another amount of R 1927-97 was indeed deducted. With this information in hand I went to the Voda Shop in the Centurion Mall on the 1 st November, that I have used for many years to conduct my business with Vodacom. I was met by the shop manager and informed him of my situation and he logged onto their system using my ID number. As my account opened up a block flashed with the word ***** and it was confirmed that my account was used to purchase 3 starter packs adding 3 more cell numbers to my account at another Voda Shop. It was great to see that Vodacom has acknowledged the ********** incidents / activity on my account. The manager phoned the ***** line and was told that this will be rectified and that I will be paid back the money into my bank account within 24 hours. This pleased me and I left a satisfied customer. I was also given a phone number[ ********** ] to use should this promised activity not take place. I waited for 30 hours to pass but no transaction was made into my bank account by Vodacom. I phoned the number given to me but realised that this number was just an automated service and served no purpose to my problem. I revisited the same Voda shop on the 4th November , again speaking to the shop manager. He was stunned that nothing has happened to resolve the issue. He again phoned the ***** line and was told that I should now obtain an Affidavit from the Police and follow some procedure, I immediatly questioned this as the previous person spoken to said all will be resolved within 24 hours and I need not do anything. I had to register the incident with them and I then received a reference number [ 1- ********** ********** ] and was told this query process may take up to 14 days. To say the least, I am not a happy camper! and do judge this as very bad service. To conclude, Vodacom in the 1st place acknowledged that ***** was committed in one of their shops and was prepared to refund me. But 3 persons with 3 different stories and replies as to how and what should happen. I had nothing to do with any of these activities and now they want me to wait up to 14 days for the outcome of the query. When they take the money it happens within seconds - to pay it back it takes weeks! Please help or advise me how to go about this. Regards Hein Ferreira ********** **********
